No signal from xbox one

I just got my xbox one today. Everything was going ok until It went into standby mode. Now all i see is the message no signal on my screen. In tried all the suggestion but still not luck. Is this software related?

No signal from xbox????

i cant get a signal from my xbox to the tv, iv tried new leads, hard reset soft reset, press this button that button 2 buttons 5 buttons but nothings working!!!

The console come on but no video and my controller wont connect to xbox,

Is this an easy fix or isit a new xbox???

No Signal Being Sent from Xbox One

been having the same problem on my son's system since last weekend. got it to work a few times, but very intermittent. I did an online chat, but they just told me to do everything I had already tried. now today, it booted up and is stuck on the green screen.
very painful.

Sorry you're having issues with your Xbox One. With the Xbox on hold the power button for about 10 seconds, the Xbox will quickly power off. After that turn it back on and see if you see a picture. If that doesn't work with the Xbox off hold the power
and eject till you hear a beep. Then turn it back on.

If still no pictures then try another HDMI cable, or TV.

The Xbox One doesn't directly pass through the HDMI signal. It always "intercepts" everything coming in from the HDMI in port and processes it.

Since the original idea was to have TV and games "picture in picture", the Xbox takes the video signal, and processes it to be included with the TV app on the console and then outputs it via it's own video signal to the TV.

Since the original Xbox One isn't 4K capable, you will not get 4K from your cable box if you run it through the original Xbox One.

People have the misconception of HDMI pass through. All this means is that the HDMI signal from your cable box is "passed through" the Xbox one. If your Xbox isn't on, it won't be able to pass the signal through.

i agree with Pvt McBagel

Your xbox signal might be getting an tenteriferance with your router. meaning that the signal from your xbox isn't as "clean" of a signal that your router can understand.

the best thing to do to find out if it is your xbox signal is to 1. move your xbox closer to the router and 2. if you have one is get a radio that has AM settings and use it between your xbox and your router the move static noise you get the worst your signal
is.

if it is your xbox signal then just move it(can't express that enough) until the signal is not so "dirty".
