    No signal/freezing system


    I was having issues getting stuck on the green loading screen on my xbox one. I did a factory reset and things were working fine, my system started to freeze so i would reset and start playing and it would happen again. I turned it off and came back an
    hour later to try again and now i am getting a no signal when i turn it on at the hdmi screen. I have tried a new hdmi cord, new hdmi slot, and a different tv. Any trouble shooting help?

    I followed the system update link and was successful in re-applying the system update, but still get a system freeze and signal lost to tv. I did leave the game disk in the drive, pulled the power supply cord and then restarted the console.

    With that , I got the E-66 code, but only if I leave the game in and re-power.

    I just don't understand why only the new game releases cause this freeze......

    By the way, I apppreciate your help.

    The only solution I have is a hard restart (unplugging the Xbox one from the power supply for 30 seconds). Sadly this is a band aid solution and not a hard fix . You should get 3-5 days of seamless TV viewing before you need to do it again, or at least
    that seems to be my schedule.

    Sorry OpulentSquash, that is not the issue. I don't, as a number of other people, do not use optical connections, and have only used HDMI connections.

    I noticed the same problem on mine, I have my computer attached via HDMI and the picture was freezing... Turns out the problem was that if xbox does not detect any sound coming in from the HDMI in, it freezes the picture. When sound resumes, the picture
    resumes as well. So my solution till they fix it is to play a 'silent' wav file in the background on my computer, and the freezing stops.

    Thanks Remy! Power cycling has fixed my freezing issue for the time being. Highly recommend trying this to fix freezing and sound issues.
