    No signal during gameplay


    Hey. Recently while playing my 360 for approx. 15 min. the video all of a sudden went black and I got "no signal" on the display of my stereo receiver. I thought the console may be overheating but I've cleaned it and moved it into open space. It now
    does it every time I play. I've unplugged everything, changed HDMI cables, reset display settings, changed inputs on my receiver....pretty much all I can think of. It is strange because it only happens after playing a game for a while. Everything is fine
    and then....BOOM.....no signal. If I shut off the console and restart it, everything is fine for a while again. I've seen all the other posts about no signal from start up but I have yet to see anyone with an issue that occurs during gameplay. Any thoughts
    or suggestions on a fix? Thanks!

    IM HAVING A SIMILAR ISSUE, DURING GAMEPLAY MY SIGNAL FLUXATES FROM RED 1 DOT TO FULL GREEN, BUT IM FULL ON CONNECTION ANY IDEAS

    Using multiple headsets/separate accounts but same sound through both sets.

    The gameplay sound comes from your game > to your Xbox > to your audio device (tv, headset, etc.). The audio can't be split into two different signals during this process. It would be a cool feature on future games/consoles/headset though. Hope this helps.

    ok 3 questions to help out

    one are you using a samsung TV?

    and two have you used the original AV cords that came with the xbox?

    three do you have a setting for auto off?

    I believed it worked but let me answer your questions. Not a Samsung. Was using original cords (sort of). Auto was off. So, what I was doing was swapping out the original HDMI cord with equally cheap cord. When I replaced the cord with a higher quality
    HDMI cable, the issue did not return. It's been a few days now and it still has not happened again. Thanks for the suggestion!

    Freezing issues

    Hiya Rawlie, it's quite possible that the XBOX 360 isn't getting a good enough signal for sending enough packets through for online gameplay. It might be fine for sitting there and logging into XBOX Live, but as motion happens and you see your connection
    deteriorate could warrant that something is wrong with the wireless signal the XBOX Is getting. You could try to move the XBOX 360 closer to the wireless router. Or you could perhaps try to connect an Ethernet cable from the router to the XBOX 360 and see
    if this stutter fixes itself during gameplay.
