    I am hoping someone can help.

    since the dashboard update my games wouldnt recognise that they were downloaded and then the worst thing happened. My LG tv came up with a no signal message.

    i read online and watched youtube videos on trying different tvs, different hdmi cables, hdmi ports, rebooting the xbox which works for 5 seconds and then it glitches ( see a picture, goes black, see a picture then no signal message) i know the xbox works
    as i can stream to my laptop but the quality is not great which may possibly be my wi fi but it seems to be the video output.

    please help ive been trying to get this to work for the last 3 days

    Thanks for coming to the forums with your issue with a blank screen. We recommend trying out the troubleshoot
    wizard for blank screen    . Please be sure to try all of these and let us know. If still having issue not seeing anything you may want to think on getting the console repaired. You can set one up on the device
    support page    .

    Console won't load past initial start up screen

    Does this work if it loads to a black screen only. On March 2nd I cold rebooted my console, due to lag on the tv side. When I turned it on the screen stays black. Light on console comes on and make the sound when power button is pressed. After that just

    Are you getting any picture?

    Does it say No Signal?

    What exactly is it showing on your screen?

    I also only have an RCA cable box. I purchased an RCA to HDMI converter and it does NOT work. It recognizes that there is a signal, but it is a black screen with no audio. This could be the converter that I bought, but it could be something else- not sure.
