    No Shipping Label to return my XBox Elite controller under warranty.


    I've tried for a call back via the contact page more than fifty times and web chat is not available. No alternative has been given to sort out why, after 5 days from Microsoft's acknowledgement of order e-mail, I still don't have a shipping label for my return under warranty.

    Hi Fentible,

    I’m going through the same thing right now with my controller. I’m 3 phone calls deep and keep getting a response from various agents stating, “ok let me try to resent a label but it could take 2-6, 24 and even 72 hours to get it via email.

    So frustrating I paid $180 for an Elite 2 controller and get scammer type service from a world known company.

    I plan to make more calls to Microsoft today but I’m sure it will end with a scripted response bc they know their systems are broken and won’t fess up to it.

    How did you get in touch with the agent that finally resolved your problems?

    Each attempt to get a callback results in a new "Something went wrong at our end. We’re working on it" message. It then gives a "Try Again" prompt. When re-entering the contact number it detects my country, but throws another "Something went wrong at our end. We’re working on it" and "Try Again" cycle.

    I've tried with both my landline and mobile numbers - the same thing happens.

    Hi,

    I just kept trying numbers found via Internet searches until I got to one on the Microsoft UK site for "Extended holiday returns", it's a UK number, so it may not help you, but I got an agent in Cairo who sorted it out quickly by sending me an e-mail with the shipping label. The label appeared in my inbox within an hour but it never showed up in my online work order.

    The shipping label issue has now been resolved thanks to a Microsoft agent in Cairo who was very helpful.

    The continual failure on 'Request a Callback' is ongoing.

    My thanks to Christopher for his suggestions and advice!
