    no share function for youtube in Xbox one OS?


    Hello everybody.

    why isn't it possible to share YouTube vids with friends in the xbox one dashboard.

    its 2016!! come on people this has to be implemented.

    just watch a youtube vid, then press the xbox button, then start and share in the activityfeed.

    I wish I could share my DVR video game for the Xbox facebook because one does not have this share function.

    Saving a paired connection with youtube on Xbox One

    Sorry @caseofbase, the pairing done between the YouTube app on your Android tablet and the Xbox One is a function implemented by google/youtube itself. You will need to contact their support to see if they have this ability.

    Xbox One SmartGlass is a separate app that can be paired with your Xbox One console for various control, input, social, and 2nd screen companion experiences (and it will remember your pairing no share function for youtube in Xbox one OS? :), but unfortunately it does not function that well specifically
    with controlling the YouTube app at this time (YouTube is working on a fix for that).

    @ Drachen yes the OS on the Xbox One should be faster than the Dashboard OS on the 360. Since it will have a hypervisor, kernel, and Xbox OS, and the Xbox One's hardware capabilities. I viewed a video of Xbox One Dasboard glimpse by someone who posted it
    on Youtube last week which pictured also them playing Zoo Tycoon.

    YouTube not functioning?

    Yeah. Youtube has been the worst app on the Xbox since the start and it has gotten much worse.

    If it does play, it keeps on pausing every few seconds to buffer (which takes longer to do than the video that has been played.

    Also, it completely freezes my console on a periodic basis.

    Much better to watch it through the IE app, plus it doesn`t restrict the content like the YouTube app does.
