    No service offers found for replacement accessory


    I have recently experienced a problem with my Xbox 360 power supply. My power supply started showing a solid red light so i went on the support page and found what the problems could be so after trying all the solutions i still had a red light. At the bottom
    of the page it then says "If your power supply light is still flashing orange, solid red, or unlit, your power supply needs to be replaced". So I've gone onto the Xbox online service center, added my device and selected the option for a power supply replacement
    and it said that no service offers are available. What am i supposed to do now? My Xbox is an Xbox 360 Core and it had standard warranty but that expired on the 2nd of September 2010.

    Well, if MS won't fix it, you're ***. Honestly, buying a new 360 wouldn't cost much more than the repair charge anyway.

    It sounds like you've had the controller(s) for a while, over 30 days, and I assume your asking how to fix them or have it replaced.

    Lets start here:

    *What is the warranty period for accessories and games?

    - All licensed Xbox accessories and games: 90 days (whether included in a console bundle or purchased separately).

    *How can I get an accessory replaced?

    If you purchased the Microsoft Xbox One accessory within the last 30 days, you can return it to the retailer with your original proof of purchase. If you purchased the accessory more than 30 days ago but within the accessory warranty period, you can order
    a replacement accessory from our Xbox Online Service Center (console registration is required). Make sure you click Replace an Accessory (instead of Request Service.) Follow the prompts to place an order.

    *How do I send in an accessory for replacement?

    After you successfully submit your accessory replacement order, you will receive an email confirmation. Then, pack the non-working accessory in a box and send it to our service center. You can arrange delivery with the courier of your choice, but you will
    have to pay for the shipping costs. You assume responsibility for any loss or delay in shipping.

    After the service center receives your non-working accessory, a replacement will be shipped to you within 14 to 21 business days. Return shipping is free of charge.

    *I haven't heard of the trigger problem that you're describing but it does sound broken to me. If the warranty is over, perhaps its worth tinkering if you're comfortable doing so...I can't offer and tips but I'm sure there are plenty of YouTube video out
    there.

    I am aware, and I did include this in my post, but what I am saying is I would like the option of either extending my warranty to cover the accessory I have (in this case the elite controller) or the option of offering customers a way of repairing their
    accessories. This isn't a complaint on the warranty offered but a discussion on how I feel the services that are offered may need to evolve as the accessories offered to the population of gamers is becoming more expensive with no services to maintain the quality
    of the expensive accessory they purchased.
