No rewards for pre-ordering digital copies of games???

Discus and support No rewards for pre-ordering digital copies of games??? in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; Why do you only get reward points for pre-ordering a physical copy of a game and not for pre-ordering a digital copy...?     No rewards for pre-ordering digital copies of games???


    Why do you only get reward points for pre-ordering a physical copy of a game and not for pre-ordering a digital copy...? Doesn't seem right.

    Why do pre-order bonuses are for digital copies only. No rewards for pre-ordering digital copies of games??? :(

    Pre-ordering now is just about hype. In almost all cases, it has little to do with pre-ordering the game because you might not be able to get one if you don't.

    There are a couple cases every now and then.....maybe a GTA.....maybe a Halo....but in most cases, it's just to get you to commit your dollars early and more of them..."get the extra super duper special version that comes with a action figure, all for just
    $40 more!!!!"

    Hello Diamond Descent,

    We have not had a 10,000 Rewards Credits offer for pre-orders, with the exception of our September Gears of War pre-order offer. You may be thinking of our 15,000 Credit MicrosoftStore.com pre-order offer that we had up until this year. However, that offer
    requires the purchase of a physical pre-order copy off of MicrosoftStore.com. Since your pre-orders were digital, they were not eligible for that offer.

    The only thing pre-orders are currently eligible for is the Games on Demand offer. Pre-orders are not eligible for MyVIP, as referenced in our FAQ.
