No rewards credits for making first purchase

Hi there support guys (girls too),

So I signed up for xbox live rewards account got setup and everything for my gamertag so like a week later I decide to make a purchase so I could get the credits for making the first purchase. So I preceded to make a purchase and I never got any credits
from the purchase.

Also my gamerpic is not being shown on xbox live rewards for some reason its the greyed out one

I made my first purchase on xbox store, and still did not get my reward credits in 1250, already made two purchases and no reward.

Bought games and no credit reward added

Thank you for the explanation, I thought I will receive credit reward for every games I bought.. (That is my bad)

How did you make your purchased? In order to qualify for that offer, the purchase has to be made using currency from your Microsoft account balance. Credit card/Paypal purchases are not eligible for that offer.

The gamerpic can take some time to update, if it does. Sometimes the servers don't update properly, but it won't affect your ability to earn credits.

In order to complete the First Purchase offer, you have to use funds from your Microsoft Account in order to make the purchase. Since you have not used this method of payment yet, you have not yet completed the offer. As Smwutches says, sometimes the gamerpics
take time to update.

Those are rewards credits not MS points.

I also have a feeling you need to be Gold for the Rewards programme to work
