    2 xbox 1 controllers have failed overnight. Both show a good connection with the xbox light on the controller. Neither does anything with any button inputs. New batteries in both.

    Hello!

    I’m very sorry to hear your controllers aren’t functioning properly. You can try going through some troubleshooting steps with your controllers at our Xbox
    one wireless controller troubleshooting page    . If none of them fixed your problem, your console might have a hardware issue and need repaired.

    Thank you for your response. ES2 controller stands for Elite Series 2 controller, which is a Microsoft product. XCS stands for Xbox Customer Support.
