No reply to recovery form

Helo Mason, unfortunately in these cases of account recovery Microsoft may take more than 24 hours to respond.

Each case is reviewed by Microsoft's investigation team, so it may take a while.

Did you get a reply from the recovery form with a link to reset your account password? And did you change it but the hacker changed again, is that correct?

Or is the recovery form sending the password reset link to the hacker's email?

Sorry to read that you are having issues with recovering your Microsoft account using the recovery form. Please be aware that this is the only method to recover your account, and support are unable to influence the decision-making process that goes into this.

You are welcome to wite into your local Microsoft Office and express your frustrations in a letter. However, this may not change their mind with the recovery process but will help them shape the customers experience when using support avenues. Please be aware that some, if not most offices, may be closed due to COVID.

Microsoft takes your privacy and account security seriously, which is why the recovery form asks for as much information as it can. You can continue submitting new forms when you think of new information related to your Microsoft account that may help prove that you are the owner of the account.

I understand that you are frustrated with the outcome and problems you have experienced with the recovery process for your account, but these forums are accessible for those who are 13 and above.

You would need to wait Microsoft response. I'm not a Microsoft employee so I cannot say if you will recover your son's account or not. Only Microsoft employees review your answers.

The recovery form is the only recourse if the account does not have any alternative email address or phone number associated with it.

The questions asked by the Microsoft chat agent are almost the same as the recovery form.

You can try the recovery form more times. But it can take a few days until you receive a reply.
