    No Record of 12-Month Xbox Live Gold Activation


    I purchased a new Xbox One on 10/07/15. Close to two weeks later (maybe 10/19/15?) I activated the 12-Month Xbox Live Gold card that I have had since June. I entered it on the Xbox itself, and know how tricky it can be with so many letters/numbers on the
    card, so I double checked everything, including the fact that it told me it was successfully added!

    I then went online with Forza 6, and later Guitar Hero Live, and accessed online functions, so I assumed that everything was fine and threw away the card.

    Apparently, everything was not fine. I purchased Call of Duty Black Ops 3 today and rushed home to play multiplayer online. Instead, I'm greeted by a message that says "The current profile is not allowed to play on Xbox Live." I live alone and only have
    ever had this one gamertag/profile (), which I was signed into when I redeemed the 12-Month Xbox Live Gold card.

    Is there anything that can be done without still having possession of the used card/code? I'm willing to do anything to cooperate with an investigation of my account.

    The chart says I should get 200 points (haven't gotten those yet) even though the xbox live dashboard advertisements said I should get 600 points.

    Since I can't edit: I should also mention that I have spoken to a Microsoft representative on chat and they said that there was no record of the code being applied to my account... So my Xbox One lied to me, apparently. I'm 100% sure it said the card was
    activated. Why else would I throw it away?

    then if you let you sub run out then you could have applied the 12 month gold card and got the full 12 months of xbox live gold, adding a gold card to a current active GPU sub will convert, done.

    You can purchase 5 years of Live Gold membership on 5 12 month cards and activate each one as each year expires. Or you can activate 3 12 month cards and have a total of 36 months of maximum subscription and then activate the 2 12 month cards.

    When did you buy the 12 months Live Gold? Was it 4 months ago? I only ask as Live Gold bought whilst a GP Ultimate is active automatically changes the Gold to UGP...so 12 months Gold becomes 4 months UGP (based on price). If not, then please ignore me...just that I've seen a few recently who weren't aware Gold gets changed if a GPU is active and wondered why they had no Gold
