    I dont understand why they got rid of the recent players feature. Below is an actual quote from MS detailing a previous update to the xbox app from 2019. It shows that they know exactly how popular and useful this feature is to alot of people and yet they
    chose to get rid of it with this new update anyway.

    “Thanks to your feedback, we’ve made significant improvements to the Recent Players experience, making the service more reliable and allowing you to connect with the gamers you play with instantly. We understand the popularity of this feature and know
    it can be especially helpful with large-scale multiplayer games. You can now more quickly and easily engage with your Recent Players, whether you are sending a message, inviting players to a party, or adding them to your Friends List.”

    Lord bane is correct the recent players feature isn't working on Xbone yet. It will be added sometime in a few months when the new update for the Xbone rolls out.

    You're not missing anything, there's unfortunately no recent players list on the Xbox One. This will hopefully be added in an update, it's a highly requested feature.

    Some game's have it built in with the friends list .COD Ghost has it I can get it thru friends list then to recents players. Hopefully they will have a update to add this feature right on the system.
