    No progress with digital copy of game


    So I bought For honor digitally on feb 18th but after seeing how broken it was I got a refund and it should of taken the ownership of the game but it didn't. googled it like any other person would do and said if I played it would be technically stealing
    and I would get banned. I waited about a week to if it would just refresh and I wouldn't be able to play it...but I still could. Next day I called up xbox support and they told me to wait about a month and nothing and it's been almost about 2 months since
    then now and i'm on here looking for advice on how I can fix this cause i'm out of ideas.

    btw sorry about the poor choice in title.

    purchasing a physical copy of a game after already owning the digital.

    Sadly you can't. The digital DLC will work for your disc copy but the Bloody Jason Skin and clothing pack for counselors from the physical copy only work for the physical copy, not the digital.

    I believe the progress you have made as well doesn't carry over either. So you can use the physical copy with the digital DLC but you sacrifice any progress you made on the digital (unlocked Jasons, kills, counselors, etc)

    Destiny for $28 bucks and digital is $60?

    Welcome to one of the downsides of the digital revolution.

    With a digital copy there is no drive to move stock, no need to lower prices in order to make room in the warehouse or store shelves. The digital copy has no risk of being knocked and damaged.

    There is no reason for Microsoft to lower the price of a digital copy. It's no even as if there is any competition on their console for digital games.

    Yes, all prior progress would be available if you purchased a digital copy of the same game you've played before using a physical copy.

    If you get a new disc, or if you get the game digitally, your game progress will still be there to use with the new copy.

    Your progress will be saved in any case no matter if it's a physical or digital copy.
