No power to Xbox1.

Attempted to turn on XB1 this morning and nothing happened. Unplugged everything, had breakfast came back and connected everything and still nothing. Power brick is lit orange. The sound you hear when you turn on your Xbox is very faint, as with the sound
of the eject when tried... it won't eject either. Any suggestions?

Not in stand-by mode but turned off no power to the Xbox1. this way you don't have to turn on both.

 

Xbox one electrical noise from vent area.

Try selecting power saving mode the xbox1 should shut down fully then

 

if you have a xbox one s console make sure it's not plugged into a surge protector because there is a surge protector built in so there is no need for an additional surge protector. If it's not a S console then I would try a different outlet just to make
sure it's if it's the console or the outlet your using.

 

Thanks for the response. Tried all of that good stuff. It was fine last night and simply nothing today.

 

Same here.... turned everything off before I went to bed and when I woke up my power brick didn't have any light on.... I unplug it and went to the store. 1hr later and still nothing. All was fine last night and now when I plug the power brick up to the
xb1 console the amber light shuts off and nothing turns on. If this is due to the power brick construction and is not the fault of the gamer then I would think XBOX would recall and replace them for free instead of trying to charge 35 to 50 dollars for a problem
that has nothing to do with us gamers... Anyway if anyone know how to fix this let us know...you will be helping a lot of people today.

 

I've been dealing with this problem for more than 2 months now. Without any resolution.

Trying to get help through support but won't accept my address, so can't get past this screen.

In the 2 years I've had the x-box one it has been non functional for about 5 months.

@KnownLeopard200 - What region are you located in? Have you attempted to initiate the process using the website I linked above?

 

Thanks for the responses. I've sworn off the knock off power bricks from Amazon. Went thru 3 in a month and decided to just get the real thing from the source. Ordered it Monday 10-3-16 with a delivery date of 10-12-16. It's being trucked from point of
origin California to Maryland. 9 days via FedEx. SMH
