No points at all VIP star rank 0?

Discus and support No points at all VIP star rank 0? in XBoX Rewards & Social to solve the problem; i have spent over a $1000 just in the last month not to mention all my games purchased why is my rank still at 0 i should be at 4 atleast. please can...     i have spent over a $1000 just in the last month not to mention all my games purchased why is my rank still at 0 i should be at 4 atleast. please can you look into my account and tell me what is going on?

    Hello. I just read an email sent to me earlier today regarding my VIP Star Rank..

    It now shows me with No Star (beginner).

    However, this is Incorrect.

    At the end of 2016, I Only Needed a $10.00 purchase to Keep My 1-Star VIP rank for 2017.

    SO, in Order to keep my 1-Star VIP. I did make a Last Minute purchase of $20.00 plus tax, purchased Watch Dogs complete edition in the countdown sale. It Was still 12/31/2016 before midnight when I made the purchase. ( I'm in Louisiana, central standard
    time.) There was No small print which stated that any countable purchases be made by universal time... My account activity lists that purchase as 1/1/17 BUT shows a circle with an " I " inside Which when touching this state's, 'this time/date is shown in universal
    time and does not reflect your current time in your region.

    I could have easily done without that game I purchased, as The real purpose of that Purchase was to Keep my 1-Star VIP rank for this 2017 year.

    Also, the fact Being that I Only Needed a $10.00 purchase to Keep my VIP Rank. More SpecIfically, I made a $20.00 purchase because $10.00 of that Purchase was a redeemed reward from Bing. Knowing that $10.00 portion would likely Not be counted towards my
    VIP rank, is Why I Made a Purchase in the amount of $20.00 total.

    When I made the purchase, it stated that my VIP star rank would be updated within 96 hours. But, that system was still down when I got on to double check that my VIP rank was Updated within that time frame.

    As of now, MyRewards Statement has No Indication that I made Any purchase at All in December 2016 (also not shown even in January 2017.)

    I made the Purchase on 12/31/2016.

    Afterwards, when I logged in to check for my updated VIP 1-Star Rank, the system just stated it was still in process of updating the VIP rank for 2017. At that time it allowed me to complete my Survey for January 2017, which is listed on the rewards statement
    that was emailed to me.

    It would be nice to have some assistance in correcting this issue.

    VIP star ranking

    Is there any way of seeing at what level i am to rank up to the next VIP star?

    I know at rank 1 you need to spend at least €300, rank 2 spend at least €600, rank 3 spend €900 and so on....but where can i see where i'm at between ranks...how much i'm short of reaching the next star?

    What content on the Xbox Store is eligible for MyVIP?

    Normally, most purchases for Xbox 360 and Xbox One from the Xbox Store qualify, including full Games on Demand titles (excluding game pre-orders), arcade games, indie games, game add-ons, game Season Passes, movies, TV shows, TV seasons, themes and avatar
    items. In-game consumables, Xbox Live Gold memberships, Groove Music Passes, Microsoft Movies & TV Season Passes, and the purchase or redemption of Microsoft Points or Xbox Gift Cards, still do not qualify.

    Since your purchases have all be consumables, they are not eligible for MyVIP.

    I'm having the same problem; all of a sudden my VIP rank went from 66% of the way to 5 stars as a 4-star, to 91% of the way to 4 stars as a 3-star.

    MY VIP Progress reset?

    The progress is what resets. You spend money this year, whatever rank you get to is your star rank for the following year. So you were 1 star last year (since you didn't make it to 2 star) and you will keep 1 star this year until you spend enough to earn
    2 stars. However much money you spend this year will increase your star rank and you'll have that rank the following year.

    That is how they've done it the last 2 years.
    Ok thank you or that, The year before my rank got reset back to 0 from 2 stars as anything that was considered a pre order was removed and all my games were pre ordered. Thank you for clarifying that with me. I really hope pre orders count towards VIP Rank
    as pre ordering now doesn't really make sense for me :(
