No picture output to TV screen

Hello I need some help with my sons original Xbox 360. The green power supply light comes on and stays solid. You can hear the console is powered on and running but no picture appears on the screen. We bought a brand new HDMI cable and even hooked another
original Xbox 360 to it which worked normally.

Sometimes dropping the consoles display output to 480p will sort of trick your tv into filling the screen, the picture will probably look stretched though.

You could also check to see if your tv has a setting something like fill screen, that might work.

why no 1080i support

my tv actually outputs all pictures at 1125i

as your screen is a non tv standard resolution then you will either always lose a bit of the picture or the image will be smaller than the screen, the xbox one s will only output 1080p or 720p or 480p.

In Display and Sound settings, select Video output. Select Calibrate HDTV to start. Change your TV settings – some TVs have game-specific picture modes compared to having gaming mode, which can be enabled together with another picture mode. ... Ensure all these fit in the bounds of your screen.
