No Picture coming through

From your post, I can only see that you should try different tv. Have you tried this:

1. Power off your console, and then unplug the power cord to ensure that the console is completely powered off.

2. Wait 30 seconds, then plug the power cord back in.

3. Press and hold the BIND (controller sync button located on the left side of the console or bottom right if a one S or one X) and the EJECT button and then just press the Xbox button on the console once.

4. Continue holding the BIND and EJECT buttons for 10-15 seconds.

5. Listen for two “power-up” tones a couple of seconds apart. You can release the BIND and EJECT buttons after the second power-up tone.

6. The console should power up and take you directly to the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter.

7. To reset your console from the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter, use the D-pad and A button on your controller to select Reset this Xbox.

9. When prompted, select Keep games and apps. This option will reset the OS and delete all potentially corrupted data without deleting your games or apps.

Also, you can change the resolution in Startup Troubleshooter!

Thank you, I tried everything, but I still coudn't display anything on the screen, so couldn't move forward from that. I did however unplug everything from the mains (including the TV), left it a while, and plugged everything back in.

At the end of that, everything worked. So not a clue as to what the problem was, but the TV might have been responsible.

Do you think it could be the console its self

Difficult to say, I guess without more information, it's a 50/50 chance, but the xbox is 3 years old, while the TV is only a couple of weeks old .... It'd be good if it were possible to see the logs, although, it also depends how easy it also is to understand
them ...

I agree. The picture being passed through the TV app is considerably lesser quality coming out the other end. Blacks are horrible and the picture is fuzzy while lacking HD quality.

It is so easy to see. Plug the Dish Network directly in and the picture is great. Plug the Dish Network into the Xbone and picture is degraded.

Just one more reason why I (you) shouldn't run my TV HD receiver through the Xbone!
