    NO PARTY CHAT


    IS THERE ANYONE THAT WOULD RECOMMEND SOMEONE THAT WOULD MAKE A HOUSE CALL TO OVER HAUL THE XBOX 1 SETUP, I'VE TALKED TO XBOX THREE TIMES, SOLVED THE PROBLEM THREE TIMES, AND WENT HAYIRE AGAIN THREE TIMES. I'VE TRIED EVERYTHINGXBOX REQUESTED ONLY
    TO GET A TEMPORY FIX. I KNOW I'M NOT ALONE THIS IS WIDESPREAD, WHO CAN I CALL FOR HELP? CAN'T HOST OR ENTER PARTY CHAT ON A REGULAR BASIS

    If you are in an Xbox Party chat and everyone leaves you will remain in the Party Chat as the host, you will need to manually leave the party chat .

    It's not meant to be "party chat" but "chat". Whether ingame or party. But the buttons are not switching between game or party chat, but to control the balance between game sounds and voice chat.

    I don't think that Phone users are allowed to make/join parties that why Microsoft implemented party chat where iPhone user can send they friend a party chat so that their friend can join through the message. to be able to use party chat you need to have
    a chat group with all your friends in it and send a party chat.

    By any chance are you trying to use it in party chat? With party chat, you need to go into it and physically turn on party chat for it to work. Hope this helps!

    Join an Xbox party chat, go to options and switch to game chat. You can then leave the Xbox party and the fortnite party chat should work again
