No party chat, using headset with Stereo Headset Adapter

I've been using a Turtle Beach headset for Xbox 360 for the Xbox One via a Stereo Headset Adapter. Recently I helped someone configure the same setup that I had by taking mine apart and showing them how I have it set up, but when I put it all back together,
people in my party cannot hear me. I can hear them, and if I talk I can hear myself in the headphones but it doesn't get trasmitted to the party for some reason. It worked fine before, but now it does not. Everything is plugged in the exact same way as
    it was before.

I have checked for console and controller updates, unplugged and plugged in the headset several times, and tried different sources for power (via USB plug). None of these solutions have worked.

If anyone has any suggestions on how to fix this issue I'd be greatly appreciative. Thanks!

    :)

  2. Xbox one App

•Some third-party products come with a stereo headset adapter that may look different from the Xbox One Stereo Headset Adapter made by Microsoft, but they all function the same way.

•You can only connect an Xbox 360 Chat Headset using the stereo headset adapter with a 2.5-mm to 3.5-mm converter, which comes with the Xbox One Stereo Headset Adapter. The Xbox One Stereo Headset does not include this adapter cable.

  3. Television Audio Through Xbox One Headset

If you are talking about the Chat headset, that comes with Xbox One, then No. If you are talking about Stereo Headset, with an Stereo Headset Adapter. then Yes. Using the Stereo Headset Adapter give to both Chat and Game sound to the headset. If you TV,
is connected to the Xbox, your TV sound, will go to the headset.

This is a tough one because it could be a number of things. I'll give you a couple of idea's. If you've done them already or you're not able to do them then I apologise now.

Are you able to try the adaptor in another Xbox One controller?

Are you able to get your hands on another adaptor to try out?

Do you have or are you able to borrow a new style Xbox One controller to try plugging your headset directly into the audio jack?

Have you tried re configuring audio settings on your Xbox One?

    Adaptor on mute?

    And lastly, NAT type?

Get back to me if non of the above work for you and we'll try some other stuff No party chat, using headset with Stereo Headset Adapter :)

Enabling sound from a connected monitor with a headset

Hello, you would need to purchase a stereo headset designed designed for the Xbox One in order to get your game sound through your headset. Microsoft has their own variant

    www.xbox.com/.../stereo-headset
but there are third party companies which sell certified for Xbox One (Just make sure it says it's available for use with Xbox One).

    Third party XBox One headsets
    www.xbox.com/.../third-party

If you buy a third party headset you may also need to purchase the Xbox One chat adapter so you can connect your headset to your controller

    www.xbox.com/xbox-one/accessories/headsets/stereo-headset-adapter

Some companies include them in the box, some don't.

Either way if it comes in the box or not you need to wire your controller up to your Xbox One in order to download the firmware for the chat adapter to it

Headset Adapter and Beats Studio Headset

Same issue with iPhone headset. Audio works great, in party chat, others here high pitch whistle. While less than desirable, it may be that the adapter is not designed to work with inline mic's. Look at the last item in the list below. "Any 3.5mm stereo
headset (that uses the CTIA plug standard) can get stereo game audio by plugging into the adapter"

I hope that the headset can work.

    From XBOX.COM Headset Adapter page:

    For game audio:

    - Legacy gaming headsets get game audio from the back of the console from the S/PDIF port or from your TV/receiver with RCA cables. Get chat audio by connecting the 2.5mm chat cable to the adapter

    - New Xbox One headsets – get chat and stereo directly from the adapter. No need to connect anything to the console

    - Any 3.5mm stereo headset (that uses the CTIA plug standard) can get stereo game audio by plugging into the adapter

    Mic compatability - Ath-Adg1x

    Hi,

It says on the website it is compatible with Xbox with a headset adapter.

    On this link https://www.audio-technica.com/cms/headphones/96eeada29d21f735/index.html

    it says...

Compatible with PS4, iPad, iPhone, laptops & PC. Also compatible with Xbox One using the Xbox One Stereo Headset Adapter found at www.xbox.com.

Can you explain what wiring is needed to use game chat/ party chat with this headset. Ive contacted the manufacturer and they said to contact you.
