No overheating but Xbox One shuts off without reason

    No overheating but Xbox One shuts off without reason


    Xbox shuts off 10-20 min since start but no "Overheating Report" message at the next start. The console is not too hot to touch, ventilation is ok. Could it be the power supply? How can I troubleshoot it?

    My new xbox one s keeps switching off

    my new Xbox one S randomly powers down for no reason. The power strip is brand new. I also tried switching off the auto power off setting and no luck. No overheating

    Xbox one shuts off for no reason

    I just got a brand new Xbox one the other day. I got it all set up and everything, but when I try to play a game, after only 5 minutes or so, it just shuts down for no apparent reason. When I turn it back on I get a message saying it is set up to automatically
    turn off for ventilation or whatever, which I am pretty sure means it overheated. Problem is, it is brand new, is in an open area, and it sometimes get's pretty chilly in the room. I have tried changing system settings, moving it to another spot, setting it
    up-right. There is nothing that I can think of that will fix it. any ideas for what I should try?

    Borderlands 3 overheating Xbox one x

    This happens to me too, but only when playing co-op in Borderlands 3. The system will just shut off, it's not actually overheating, it only thinks it's overheating.

    Try toggling the performance mode either on or off. Sometimes just switching this will keep it going without shutting off.

    Why does my XBox One X shut off when I start a game?

    No it wasn't overheating, the game would just play for a few minutes and then the XBox would just shut off. I was able to use all the other apps but could not play a game without it shutting off. The console reset seemed to have worked for me.
