    No option to turn off auto renewal?


    So I went to turn off auto renew and there's not even an option to do so; just to purchase a one month or twelve month subscription, my three month prepaided ends on the first and I don't want to be charged 60 bucks on the 31st so how do I turn off auto
    renew if there's not even a place that shows that's an option?

    How do I turn off Auto Renew?

    Hi, I tried to turn off auto renew in my settings but theres no option to turn off auto renew for my xbox live membership.

    [/quote]Only problem with turning that option off is that it completely disables the Game DVR. Right now there is no option to just turn off the auto game recordings.

    Sorry to hear you're having trouble turning off the auto renew. Give phone support a call and they should be able to shut it off for you.

    You have a 3-Month prepaid that scheduled to turn into a 12-Month renewal at the end? I might suggest double-checking that. On Xbox.com/account, when viewing the details of your Xbox Live membership, does it say RENEWS on 2/01/2014, or does it say it EXPIRES
    on 2/01/2014?

    Why is it not just as easy to turn off the damn auto-renew as it is to turn it on?! Sleazy move on Microsoft's part! It should require nothing more then one click of the mouse, not having to contact them by phone!!

    turn off auto renewal, (go to xbox.com and go to "my account") there should be an option to turn it off. once auto-renewal is off, wait for you current XBL membership to expire. then you can remove your card.

    Turning off Auto-Renewal

    This is utter bull if you ask me. We should have the option to turn off the auto-renewal from the website if we want to. Also we should be able to use a pre-paid live card bought from a store and still have the auto-renewal feature turned off. I preferred
    it the way where we could turn it off if we wanted to. With the way the economy is these days, the option to turn off the auto-renewal feature should be included on the website if not on the xbox itself.

    Removing LIVE Auto Renewal, can't log in due to reinstalled computer

    This did not work. When I tried this solution I got a message that the payment option was in use for the Auto Renewal, and that I should visit xbox.com/support for more information on how to turn off Auto Renewal. And here I can't turn off Auto Renewal because
    it won't recognize my computer.
