    No option to enable cloud saves, or transfer saves to external devices


    When I go to storage on my settings, there is no option to enable cloud saved games, I have an xbox gold account

    Neither can I transfer games from my internal storage to anywhere, I go to storage, press A on the storage device (my internal storage) press A on transfer, I'm brought to the screen where I select games, and when I select one, the options to transfer them
    remain greyed out

    Cloud storage is obviously not enabled automatically on my xbox one, as I've had my power go out while a game was saving, and lost all my data, as someone who lives in Florida, and has the power frequently go out due to rain and wind, I now feel constantly
    uneasy when a game is saving because I'm afraid I'll lose everything, if cloud storage wont work, I'd at least like to be able to manually back them up by copying them to an external device, I am aware certain games don't allow for cloud saves, such as ones
    where a similar service is provided by the developer, such as destiny or halo, but there should be no reason why games such as fallout or dragon ball xenoverse 2 wouldn't allow me to manually transfer a save to an external device

    I should also mention that my xbox one can view and play media off of my external USB, so I know its compatible

    What happend??

    Enable cloud save( go to settings - system - storage - cloud save - enable)

    When you start gow 3, select cloud save instead of your HD storage, play a quick match and it'll automatically save to your cloud storage.

    Now switch back to your HD storage by simply changing the storage on the options.

    Repeat anytime you want to backup your data.

    Not sure about am external device for saves but your saves will be backed up to the cloud, and will sync when you log in. As for the games they will be available wherever you sign in.

    As long as you Xbox One is online all game saves will automatically upload to the cloud and will be re downloaded by the console if and when required.

    You can't move.saves you can however create new saves

    As you play your current save you can use the ingame options to save to.cloud which is automatic on xbox one

    How to save the game saves?

    The cloud will update your saves once the the game is reinstalled as your saves are automatically saved there. I have also gone the legth of transfering my saves to an external media device (usb stick) just in case I dont have internet access or, heaven
    forbid, corrupted data problems.

    So I went ahead and deleting the Cloud Storage Cache on my Xbox Hard Drive. Then I went to storage options and my Cloud Saved Games option in the Storage Devices screen said Cloud Storage was ready to be configured. When I clicked into that option it said
    my Cloud Storage was currently disabled and my options were to enable it and disable it. I went ahead and enabled it, the screen looked like it loaded something, and then went back to my Storage Devices screen where it showed Cloud Saved Games to still have
    the option of "Move or delete only". Thank you for the recommendation, Hassassinade. :)

    Xbox One to Xbox One All Digital

    You'll be able to redownload all of the digital games you've purchased. You won't lose your save files either since they're saved to the cloud.
    Another option is transfer all your games to an external hard drive. After they are transfer over, you can unplug the external from the one console, and then just plug it into the all digital console.

    If you can, then there is also the option for a network transfer.
