No option to download Fallout 3.

I heard that there was a great deal on Fallout 3 today from the ultimate games sale.So i went in to check it out and there was no option to download it.The main page of Fallout 3 on the dashboard just includes the "Rate" and the "Pin to Home" button.Nothing
else.

Please help as I was looking forward to it.Thanks in advance.

It is Fallout 3, and I get no option to download only to buy.

 

Live Access Key doesn't work with Digital Download?

That is exactly what I am saying. Since you purchased a physical copy of the game, there is no legal option for you to get a download of Fallout 3.

 

What region are you in?

It may just be that it's not offered in your current region, in which case there would be no way to download it.

If you are in a region where it is offered, you might want to try downloading from the web (Xbox Games Store) if you plan on paying by credit card or PayPal anyway (web store does not yet
work with the money in the Microsoft Account).

 

It's not only this game though,even Mass effect 1 and 2 were not available to download.My region is India BTW.

 

The problem is your region and that these games are not offered for download there.

So that you can visualise the issue yourself, compare these two links:

Notice how while both GB and Indian listings have the DLC, the Game on Demand disappears as soon as you navigate to the Indian Marketplace.

Unfortunately there is no way around this as your physical location and account region need to match when downloading these games and if you tried to download from a different region's marketplace you would run into errors, but may still get charged for
the content.

Sorry for the disappointing news on this.

I presume you'll find the same on the Mass Effect listings too.
