    No option to allow cross play on Fortnite


    I am on an Xbox One S, using my parent account and there isn't even an option in my system settings to allow for cross platform parties. Why is this not available? There are no security or privacy settings as this is an adult account, not a child's account.
    What can I do? I purchased this console for this reason and now it isn't even available?

    Hi Heidi,

    When signed into the parent account, go to your Account Settings and select Family. Then select the child account you want to manage. Then go to Privacy and Online safety and customize. You should see it there.

    We are aware of the issue. It was put in intentionally due to Microsoft wanting the parent account to be allowed to manage the option for cross play or not. Unfortunately, it taking longer than expected to add it to the settings for parents to manage. We
    expect an update on this situation soon.

    Hello in order to play cross platform on Xbox you need to go into the settings in the Fortnite game and select the Allow cross platform play option. He should be good to go after that!
