Discus and support No option other than booting us for update? in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I can recall of several times where I'm mid-game, and all of a sudden, I'm met with a black screen saying it's time to update.     No option other than booting us for update?


    I can recall of several times where I'm mid-game, and all of a sudden, I'm met with a black screen saying it's time to update. I figured no biggie first couple times, went thru the motions and end of story. However, when this goes on to the point of happening
    multiple times a week it becomes too much. Oh we're trying to better your xbox experience. I get that and am in support of it hands-down. Windows 10 gives me a timeframe of how long I have until I'm forced to update... so why not xbox? This would save me the
    hassle of being met with black screens when I'm ten minutes away from a save point. I cannot be the only person this irritates immensely. I think this needs immediate attention. And yes i'll sit through another update for you to fix it.

    Support for countries other than the US?

    You probably should of waited and stuck with the 360....xbox one requires patience.

    sold that Xbox One would have entertainment system features..... X1 can't even play any movies through flash drive. I sold my 360 so I could have anough money for X1 yet I see 360 has huge advantage over X1 and I think now I should have just waited. I know
    you guys are on it Microsoft,but seeing Xbox 360 now just getting everything after we've payed through the nose for Xbox One is a kick in the teeth. My expensive headset doesn't work either,I'm disappointed but hoping to see mass improvements in 2014.

    Set your console to instant on mode. That way updates can run even when you're not actively using your console. I've never run into an update mid-game because of that.

    Go to my games and apps and look in your que list if it shows titanfall needs an update click resume or continue installation if you can get on your game and play you should be just fine other than that

    hold the power button on the front of your console for 10 seconds and then boot it back up :)

    second option uninstall the game and then reinstall it either one of these should fix your update issues works for me and others everytime ! :)

    BLACK OPS 2 WONT WORK!!!

    Even the smallest of scratches can cause issues. My best advice is to get a replacement disk. As bad as it sounds, its going to be about your only option other than trying to instal a friends game to your HDD and then just using your disk as a "boot disk"
    so to speak.
