No OneGuide Compatibility w/ new Hotwire Communications Fision

My apartment complex just switched its cable service to Hotwire Communications' Fision service. I went to set up the one guide and device control over my new DVR box, but was unable to do it via the automatic set up or via searching for my cable box (ISB
7150) manually. I spoke to xbox customer service and the representative told me that this was likely a case that my box model was new and not yet in the system on Microsoft's side yet. Is anyone else having a similar problem with the new Hotwire cable boxes
or is it just me? Also, if the new cable box is not yet in the system, does anyone know how long it usually takes for new cable boxes to get added?

It's ok, Hardline is basically just BF4 with less vehicles... New gamemode hotwire is pretty sweet tho

 

TV listings on my OneGuide are always incorrect

The TV listings on my OneGuide are always incorrect. All of my settings, ZIP Code, Cable Provider, Daylight Savings Time, Time Zone are correct. This is unacceptable. Any new OneGuide features mean nothing to me if the listings are always wrong. I
have COX Communications cable in Las Vegas, NV.

 

Hey, BEEZERAL! It looks like the ISB7150 is a Cisco box. When you try to set up everything manually, it should ask you for the manufacturer. Are you putting in Cisco when you do that?

That specific STB seems to have information in the
UEI Support site, which means it should be supported. Let me know if that works for you, or if you've already tried that. We'll get you to the right people if it doesn't help you out.

 

Thank you for the assistance. That problem is now solved. My next issue is that my new cable service (Hotwire Fision) does not show as a listed cable network on oneguide so the channels are incorrect when using voice commands/oneguide.

 

Good to hear you've got it set up appropriately! Have you tried other zip codes around your area to see if Hotwire might show up in the options?
