    My Xbox 360 is turning on and off by itself randomly. It's not an overheating issue because the light on the brick has been green when it happens before.

    Sadly it didn't seem to work. Everything is the same for some reason.

    Try performing a hard reset EXACTLY like this. Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely.
    Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes.
    Plug the power cord back in and restart the console.

    Hello, alot of people are having the same issue. Hopefully there will be an update soon to fix the bug.

    Im sure it will get fixed with an update soon, I am currently suffering similar problems. The phone app works wonders for checking messages though.
