    No Notifications (party/game/messages) on Xbox or PC - 2 weeks now


    Hello,

    It is going on two weeks now for not receiving any sort of notification popup on my Xbox One X, Xbox Console Companion app (beta) or Xbox (beta) app on PC.

    On my Xbox:

    • I have done a cold reboot multiple times
    • I have disabled all notifications under settings, and re-enabled them following console restarts
    • I tried to clear cache of my profile on the xbox and re-sign back into everything.
    • I have restarted our router.
    • I have verified I have an Open NAT type on my Xbox.
    • I CAN sign into another account on my Xbox, and receive notifications on it.

    Console version: 10.0.18363.9127

    Xbox Console Companion - beta version: 44.59.13001.00000

    Xbox (beta) version: 2001.1001.4.0

    I just can not receive any form of notification under my main Xbox account.

    Help and guidance would greatly be appreciated.

    I have same problem when i use Xbox and Xbox app on my phone at same time -> my msg on xbox not work.

    Disconnect from xbox app, restart xbox and try to send msg.

    Hello. The fix we found for this came to be a Microsoft related issue that was pushed out on their back end. If it is happening with you again, I am unsure. I do know Xbox Live has been having some issues in general the last few days with delays in achievement
    popping, parties not working, or friends lists showing offline, so that could be part of the cause.

    so, short feedback.

    the patch yesterday didnt helped, did all what they wanted but it didnt help.

    but suddently all worked fine this evening without doin anything, and i havend downloaded the today patch,

    so i think it was/is a mix of a server and client problem.

    lets see what happens the next day, hope it will still work.

    In addition to the above:

    • I removed myself from the Xbox Console Preview Delta ring and am now Console OS version: Console version: 10.0.18363.9127
    • I have removed all devices other than my Xbox One X under my Microsoft Account.
    • I have switched my Xbox from being plugged into a surge protector directly to the wall.
    • For the Xbox PC app, Xbox Companion PC app, and the Xbox mobile app. I reset them in the programs and features advanced options, and then uninstalled the apps after resetting did not work.
    • After all of this, I went back into notification settings on my Xbox, and turned them all off, restarted, turned them all back on just to try that again.

    Still nothing.

    Hello,

    I have followed the above steps.

    I hard shut down my console by holding the power button, unplugging, letting everything sit for a bit, plugging it all back in and starting it.

    - Still didn't work.

    I then did the soft reset by keeping my games and apps. After setting everything back up. I was still unsuccessful in getting Party or Game invites.

    Though, I did learn I receive message notifications.
