    No network option in No Man's Sky, Xbox series X game pass


    I am trying to play No Man's Sky on a new Xbox Series X with a friend. It is part Xbox Game Pass. I cannot find the multiplayer option. When I start the game, I do not see the multiplayer option. I think I have all the xbox options set so I can play online, but I never see the option to play online.

    Do I need Xbox Game Pass Ultimate to play online in No Man's Sky? What else can I try? I have updated the Xbox, I think I have updated the game, is there anything else to try?

    To play online on Xbox you need the Live Gold subscription or Game Pass Ultimate which includes Live Gold.

    Yep, fully updated. Able to install any other Game Pass game other than No Man's Sky too.

    No other games are affected that I know of. I'm able to play Forza Horizon 5 on multiplayer with no issues whatsoever.

    I haven't tried any other procedures besides a simple restart and trying different networks.
