    No network connection while console off.


    So I have my Xbox one setup for instant on. But when it’s not turned on, I can’t access it from other networked devices anymore, doesn’t let me remote play anymore. Also, every time I turn it on, the icon “connect to Xbox live” is there, it doesn’t automatically connect.

    I have tried doing a reboot on the Xbox, as well as my network routers and modems. No change.

    Generally this only happens when the console looses net connectivity while powered off... if it looses network connection--even for a second--it get kicked off LIVE and then shut down.

    The first thing to do while the console is OFF is power cycle your network router and wait until it is fully functional BEFORE turning the console back ON.

    You may have lost network connectivity.

    Wait for the network to complete its connection to the network (green lights) and then restore power cable to console and turn it on.
