No Nat Type and “can’t get teredo IP” with hotspot

Hey what’s going on guys here I was hoping someone might have some advice- we finally got some Wi-Fi but it has to be through a mobile hotspot, although I’ve heard good even great things, the first day everything seemed to work fine. Now Even though the Xbox says it’s connected gaming online isn’t an option- we meet the requirements for download upload and ping settings, however it still won’t obtain a teredo IP address. I’ve also seen double nat which is weird because now it can’t find one at all- no Nat or unavailable. We also just bought game pass and started downloading halo infinite and it stops completely at 7.22 GB download just before you can play. I’ve been all over google YouTube and forums alike- hard starts soft starts everything’s been done- if anyone has experience customizing settings on an alcatel T-Mobile hotspot? Or experiencing this kind of issue let me know! Thanks for your time! Ps when connected we can do everything else like stream content.

Keep in mind that since you are using a hotspot you may not have full functionality as if you were using a standard home router. I am also linking the Alcatel support site to help you get into the settings through your browser, I recommend using the browser on either a pc or a phone. I'm Nilay and I'll be glad to answer your query today.

You’ll need to check your router’s confutation UI for an IPv6 settings page, and then look for the following options:

Allow Teredo tunneling

Allow IPv6 tunneling

Reboot your network device or router.

If you still see a screen that says Can’t get a Teredo IP address, or if your NAT Type is listed as Unavailable, then look for the following option on your router’s confutation UI: Enable IPv6

If you see this setting, ensure that it is set to No (or Disabled). Reboot your network again.

If you do not see the screen that says Can’t get a Teredo IP address this time, then check your new NAT type. If your NAT Type is Open, you’re done!

If you do see the Can’t get a Teredo IP address screen again.

it says nat type unavailable also it says can't get a teredo ip address

Double NAT detected
Can’t get a Teredo IP address
NAT Type: Unavailable
Teredo is unable to qualify
UPnP not successful
Error code: 0x89231906

Hot spot in general are not recommended for gaming. There are some hotspots/companies that can work with that. You may need to contact their customer support as the protocol may not be supported by what you are using. Not sure if you have been to the
below site and stepped thru all the steps it has on this; based on what you have in your post you may have.

If you can’t join or host an Xbox Live multiplayer game, or you can’t connect to a party chat session, press the
Start button , select
Settings > Gaming > Xbox Networking, and look for
NAT Type under Xbox Live multiplayer.

If it says Teredo is unable to qualify, it means your PC is unable to obtain a Teredo IP address.
