No more Device Control

Discus and support No more Device Control in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; xbox no longer turns on or off my tv via voice. In device options the actions to toggle are exactly 'NOTHING'.     No more Device Control


    xbox no longer turns on or off my tv via voice. In device options the actions to toggle are exactly 'NOTHING'. I have tried hard booting / removing and re-adding the device. Both are things found in searching. Any further idea's that I can try? This
    seems sudden as last update was a month ago so I'm finding what / if anything has changed.

    vms 1100 is mounted on wall behind tv... inputed all of the Verizon FiOS info into OneGuide setup vms1100 through device control... and still one guide channel select is not working through Xbox one x .. please help

    Did you ever get this figured out? My One S worked perfectly but my X won't control my cable box.

    Edit....I tried the 'reset tv' settings in one guide as well.

    It's LG - but that's not the issue. In fact i'm not 100% positive how but its resolved now. I had previously unplugged the xbox from power but I guess 60 seconds wasn't enough. I just now unplugged it for like 5 solid minutes and auto magically it works
    immediately. Case closed I guess.

    Handheld device from Microsoft to complement xCloud

    I don’t think there is a need for a specific device for Xcloud but more for accessories. Portable/foldable controllers for your phone. Maybe a mini controller or a device to keep your phone and controller in place when playing.

    Have you ever had any other gamepad on your computer? Does it show on the device manager?

    Also, please check if there is more than one controller added on your computer. Press Windows + I. Go to Devices. On Bluetooth & other devices, check for your controller on Other devices. If there is more than one listed, please delete the wrong one.
