No Mic's Will Work With My Xbox One S

3 years later still a problem. I am having the same problem. I got my Xbox One S a couple days ago and the mic doesn't work. I can hear everything, but no one can hear me. Everyone in game chat can see my mic symbol. I have tried using apple headphones for
a mic doesn't work. Bought adapter for my Xbox 360 turtle beaches doesn't work. I have tired a a lot of things but nothing works...

I have had 3 mics and none will work. My friends in the party can just hear static. Ive tried everything, even factory reset the console. Nothing seems to be working. It recognises that there is a mic as the warning symbol disappears but no sound.

Question; are the models conoatible with XBOX? You cannot use a PS headet on XBOX FYI.

it is possible both controllers are bad see if you can borrow one to test it it also could be a issue with the xbox

I would recommend contacting Xbox support: https://support.xbox.com/contact-us this may just be the software acting up.
