    So, I think it is safe to say at this point that Xbox One controllers go through batteries very quickly. The obvious way to fix this problem is to buy a wired controller. But, my problem with that is wired controllers have no mic port. To me, that seems
    quite pointless. I can either just keep buying batteries for my controller and still be able to talk to my friends or I can not worry about batteries but not be able to talk at all. And I am aware that I can get a play and charge. I already did and the stupid
    cord broke a month in.

    Wired mic making no noise

    whenever I leave my controller for a few minutes, my mic will no longer make any noise for any game and I cannot here people in my party. I have a hyperX cloud 2 which may be part of the problem. Other people, however can here me talking in the party. Does
    anyone know how to fix this

    with PC works, only with controller not wired connected to xbox, mic doesn't work,

    is possible that with anot wired connection mic is excluded ?

    Xbox One PDP Prismatic Afterglow USB controller has buzzing sound transmitting over mic

    to fix the problem with all wired controllers, simply unplug the mic and controller, then plug the MIC in first, then plug the controller back in. Worked for me. Hopefully it works for you.

    Really need help with this :/

    I dont know what tbs you have, but I have the x31s which have a separate volume control for the chat. If the mic wire is not plugged in, there is no control for chat voulume.

    Perhaps if yours works the same, a broken wire for the mic could possibly cause yuo to not have control of the volume.

    The "mic" you're referring to is the boom mic that plugs into the headset.



    The mic I'm referring to is the chat system that allows one to talk to other players. Normally, that's supported by a wired mic cable that goes from the 360 controller to other headsets. On all other 360 headsets, a cable is required from the base of the
    360 controller to the headset for chat. Even the wireless Astro A50 has a mic cable port to go to the 360 controller.



    On the Tritton Warhead, that's all done wirelessly, same as the Microsoft Wireless Mic for 360 works. Tritton integrated the wireless mic into the headset base unit so that the headset can be completely wireless - no wired mic cable going to the controller.



    It's the wired mic cable that the Tritton Warhead lacks that is the problem. There will be no way for the Warhead's base unit to sync its wireless mic with the Xbox One.



    If all you want to do is use the Warhead as a wireless headset without a mic, it will be fine. If you want mic support, it won't.
