    No menu audio or chat audio

    Ive been having this new issues recently where when I start up there's no menu sounds (the whooshing or clicking sounds the menus make when you navigating around). Also, and probably related, when I connect to a party the other members can hear me but I cant hear them. But there IS game audio.

    A full reboot doesnt fix it. Sometimes, just navigating through various menus fixes it. Im in the beta ring. Using Windows Sonic for headsets. Mute navigation sounds is NOT checked.

    Am I just missing something easy?

    No sound

    Sorry to hear you are having sound issues. After plugging in your headset, hit the home button on your xbox and then go to the system menu. There should be an audio menu option. Within the audio menu, you can adjust chat and game sound volume. It's possible
    that you are currently set to eliminate game volume in favor of chat. Worth a try.

    I have the x12s i get game audio just fine and i can hear chat but chat is very low, also my game audio plays through the audio, so I have game audio then have chat with the echo of game audio, so i have 2 game audio sounds with a faint chat audio. anyone
    know of a way to fix this, or atleast the audio echo of the game. I can turn my game audio all the way down and only have chat audio on but im still hearing game audio over chat, first time I used it for my xbox one all day I played with just chat audio and
    didnt know because I hear both audios through my chat audio.

    Definitely check the in game Audio options as you may have chat features disabled. Also when you have your mic connected, press the middle 'Menu' button on the controller and check the Audio settings on that menu and adjust some of the levels and see if
    that helps.

    Could be an issue with the headphone jack or with your chat audio settings. Try adjusting your mic volume in system>audio settings in the guide menu
