NO MANS SKY

Hi. Im aware the game "No mans sky" is coming to the pc and ps4. But not the xb1. Apologies if there is a thread already. But apparently we dont have it because of a parity clause or something? Microsoft want indie games to release at the same time on all
platforms. Something about customers being first class? I'd feel first class if you removed that so i could play alot of these cool games

It aint going to happen, Microsoft don't read these forums.

If you really want to play it, buy a PC or a PS4, that's about it. Im sure there are loads of similar PS4 gamers asking "why cant we get xxxxxx?"

 

do they not know that no mans sky is litterally a game changer, they are going to loose a lot of xbox supporters, or gamers who buy a ps4 just for this game an dont even bother turning on the x box, for your sake xbox re-think this bad decision.......

 

And the same thing could be said for a lot of the Xbox exclusives, I've read loads of posts on the PlayStation forums saying "Why cant the PS4 get XXXXXX game?"

And to call No Mans Sky a "game changer", really? I admit it looks good and I'll probably get it on my PC, but it will go the same as most games, a huge influx of gamers for the first few months, then when people get a bit bored and move over to the next
"big thing" the players will get less and less, and within a years time people will be saying "No Mans what?"

At the end of the day, it wont be getting released on Xbox, live with it and move on, if you cant, buy a PS4 or get a decent gaming PC.

 

I'd say the parity clause doesn't exist. Rocket league came to ps4 and PC well before Xbox one

 

Games sell consoles and the current climate shows this. People will jump ship for games like No Mans Sky.

 

Save your breath my friend. Executives in board rooms make these decisions and they are not what I would call in touch with their market base. Microsoft has fumbled the ball a lot lately with xbox one and apparently does not learn from earlier mistakes.
I have been a loyal xbox gamer for many years but this single game has finally shattered the dream and I will be trading my xbox one in towards a ps 4 before June 21st.

 

As an owner of both platforms, I think it's a real shame that XB1 only players won't get their hands on such an ambitious title. I hope for their sake it gets ported later on down the line! You'd think Hello Games would go where their audience is; if enough
people kick up a fuss, I reckon there's a good chance we could see it jump ship.

 

Usually this sort of thing happens with third-party titles because the "other" console company pays a lot of money to the developer to have exclusivity, which is usually limited for a time period, but can be perpetual if they pay enough. It's a business
decision. Sony probably paid them more than enough to cover what they would have made from selling on Xbox too, which is a LOT of money to leave on the table.

 

Unfortunately, there will always be that "one" game or another that doesn't get rolled out across all the platforms. But we can hope that they might look into it in the future.

 

I REALLY IM THINKING BOUT SWITCHING TO A PS4. IM MISSING OUT ON TOO MANY GOOD GAMES.

 

There is no confirmation that it's not coming to Xbox so maybe one day it will but looking at it on PS it don't look to good render distance is awful

 

I have No Mans Sky on PC, and I cant stress this enough, don't sell your Xbox One for it.

Its an OK game, but nothing to loose your "stuff" over. The flight controls are an absolute joke (it auto pilots when in the atmosphere, all you do is point it in the direction you want to go, the game controls height)
