No Man's Sky

I've been excited for this since it was announced.

The only concern I have is what I see someone else post a month or so back, with what we've heard with this game are the developers being a little "OTT" or Over Ambitious? we shall see.

If they pull it off though it should be stunning, fingers crossed!!

No Man's Sky

No Man's Sky finaly made it to the Xbox One (X)!

Waiting for this game the day it released, offcourse it had its own bumpy little road, but with 3 major updates and the NEXT update on the horizon the game made some huge improvements.

Can't wait to play this game and discover al there is, hopefully with some friends in the new multiplayer! ;-)

No Mans sky = posh version of Minecraft, a game without a point.

There are places the graphics look brilliant, but there are places the graphics are shocking.

I just don't get it, potential is has, point it doesn't.

 

I sorry sell me a game not what you could do or could play. Im not buying into this hype stuff just cause i saw a trailer. People are quick forget about Watch dogs, Dead island, and many more games.

 

I enjoyed watchdogs and dead island. If you didn't get a little hyped for game's how would you know which games to buy?

@Davey. A game doesn't necessarily need a point, it just needs to be enjoyable.

 

@Goat, I agree and I don't, I don;t get the hype tbh, minecraft was never hyped it was build up slowly from its userbase.

Skyrim has a point there is a start and story and an end.

I can see why people like both, I can't understand what you get from no mans sky, traveling about in a universe with nothing to do and only explore to me is just........ meh.

If you can explain to be what is so amazing it might give me a different prospective?

Tis certainly ambitious tho i think il give it a miss. An exploration game???? Sounds like a worse version of minecraft to me. Hey you look at this tree i planted

 

The graphics look cool and the concept is really cool, but the game looks boring as all hell.

 

It's the whole exploration of endless planet's that I like the look of. I like the way you can wipe a planet out of any species living there, then If another player comes across that same planet they find it exactkybhow you left it.

One of the reasons I found destiny so so boring was because it's the same place over and over. On the other hand, the reason I've sank hundreds of hours into Minecraft is because it's cool to explore and build, when you get bored you start a new world to
explore.

I can understand stand it's not for everyone. Just like a short lived repetitive shooter isn't for everyone.

 

I'm still amazed how small the team is making this game. It's a very cool idea and something I will look forward trying.

Space exploration, now that's a game I want.

If anyone wants to know more of what the game is about. Game informer went and played it and spoke to the Devs about what the game entails. It's in the latest edition with No mans Sky on the cover. Basically your goal is to get to the centre of the universe
by shipping cargo of discovered minerals and upgrading ships to get further and further. You can take part in battles in space and on land.

 

Destiny was good at times, but I can't help but feel they cut huge chunks of the game to resell as DLC. As for No Mans Sky, it looks boring. Once I get a bigger hard drive for my PS4 i'll be shifting most of my gaming support towards that. Still its not
anything i'll be rushing out to get day one.
