No Mans Sky Prism Update

I was SUPER excited at the release of the new No Mans Sky Prism update. And seeming as I have an XBOX One X (which is the lowest system capatible) I was even MORE excited! It literally made my bad day.

Then I come home to find it nowhere. It’s now 2 days later and there was supposedly an update, but I see nothing. It says it updated, but the patch notes still state expeditions. No I’m very upset at this false hope, you even ANNOUNCED it was LIVE! AND ITS NOT.

Yeah but they wouldn’t put “LIVE” unless it’s live. Other wise they would state that it’s rolling out in waves. Corporations have a person that specifically moderates wording to not occur any legal issues.

None of this seems like it would resolve my issue? I have no issue updating, I have no internet issues. My issue is the non-existence of an update. I don’t see how any of these steps would make that update appear.

Hello there!

Regarding your issue I suggest that you try following the steps listed below in order to resolve it:

Settings > Network Settings > Advanced Settings > Alternate Mac Address > Clear it and the console should restart. It would definitely help if you could restart the internet router while the console is restarting.

Another step that you can try to resolve the issue, would be to remove and re-add your account. In order to do that please go to: settings> account> remove accounts> remove your account.

You could also try this troubleshooting step to clear any corrupted data from your device:

1- Go to settings on your Xbox

2- Select system

3-Select storage

4- Clear local saved games and your console will automatically restart

Note: When doing this step please make sure that you always play online so that all your data is saved to the cloud

If the issue still persists after going through the troubleshooting steps mentioned, I invite you to perform a quick power cycle by turning off the console and then unplugging all the cables. After 10-15 seconds plug all your cables back in and then restart your console.

they stated they were rolling it out so that must mean they are updating each platform in waves most likely.

It sounds like something thats failing to communicate somewhere along the line.
