    No mans sky multiplayer issue


    Recently downloaded no mans sky on xbox series x through the game pass tried to play with my kid and when we try to add me to his friends list the message "no connection to matchmaking services" pops up, reset router, cleared alternate MAC address, restarted console, shut down console then rebooted after a few seconds, disconnected from internet and then reconnected. Still not able to connect. -K

    Was experiencing the same issue for 2 days, then I saw this post and it reminded me about the Cache, I unplugged my Xbox series X and let it sit for 5 min (clearing the cache), plugged back in and servers connected. Just thought I would share this.

    Please, uninstall the game and follow this steps

    Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

    Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

    Select Reset console.

    On the Reset your console screen, you'll see three option use this one, be sure you remember the email and password of you're accounts:

    Reset and keep my games & apps. Use this option as your primary choice when troubleshooting. It will reset the OS and delete all potentially corrupted data without deleting your games or apps. In some cases, if a corrupt game file is causing the issue you're troubleshooting, you may have to choose Reset and remove everything, but you should always start with Reset and keep my games & apps

    After this install the game again please, and try again

    Have exactly same issue as described by op. Have followed ALL basic troubleshooting and most online remedies listed.

    Issue. No Connection To Matchmaking Service. (started on 6/6/22 - prior to this was 100% ok).

    Resolutions.

    Cleared Game Cache - No Fix.

    Reboot Router - No Fix.

    Uninstall Game - No Fix.

    Reset Router + Clear Cache + Uninstall Game - No Fix.

    Followed listed resolution (uninstall, reset console, re-install) - No Fix.

    Installed on PC and Tested - WORKING

    Installed and tested on backup Xbox Series one. Ok for 2hrs then Same Issue.

    No other issues with any online services.

    Clearly an issue with NMS Servers or Microsoft Systems (despite no outages reported.).

    No reply from HG Support.
