    No mans sky bug


    So today i bought no mans sky and for the past 3 hours it wont start up.I havent had the game before and im not talking about save files.It keeps saying”please try again no mans sky took too long to start”.Ive tried restarting my xbox 3 times and just
    turning it off and nothing has worked.I feel like ive just waisted 50 dollars on nothing

    I agree, I bought it on Steam for £40, and if it had been say £20 or even £25 I wouldn't have bothered getting a refund.

    This game looks awesome...Im gutted its going to take so long to come out on the Xbox One...by that time the hype train would've left and the game will be starting to die out.

    Have you tried a "Hard" Restart?

    Press and hold the power button on the Xbox itself for 10 seconds. After it turns off, wait about 30 seconds, and then press the power button again to turn it back on. This seems to fix
    most of the "too long to start" problems that I have had.

    I recommend trying a hard reset on your Xbox. To do this, hold down the power button on your console for 10 seconds while the console is on. When you turn the console back on, the cache will be cleared but data will be saved. This will also revert some console
    settings back and issues should be resolved.

    For the hard reset, after you hold the power button down and it goes off, unplug the power cable from the Xbox and wait 30 seconds, then plug it back in again. Then turn your console back on.

    I know it’s only a small change but it helped me

    when one of my games wasn’t working.

    If unplugging the cables for 30 seconds doesn’t work, you may have to re-install the game unfortunately.

    Ok I know it sounds painful as games can take hours to install, but to save time now I would really recommend just once to re-install the game. This could fix your issue and you will be happy that you can play. If this doesn’t work then I would contact Xbox
