Discus and support No longer able to launch downloaded games that I purchased. in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; Several games (Forza Horizon 4) and other... fail to launch app on Xbox OneX.     No longer able to launch downloaded games that I purchased.


    Several games (Forza Horizon 4) and other... fail to launch app on Xbox OneX.

    Any ideas on how to overcome this?

    Have tried all of the standard trouble shooting steps Microsoft offers.

    Thank you for taking the time to post this on the Xbox Forums. We understand that you are inquiring about being able to continue playing a game even though you no longer have a subscription to launch that game.

    Simply put, Yes. If you purchase the game, you get to keep that game on your account for whatever platform you purchased it on. Even if you no longer have the subscription, you will continue to be able to play that game.

    I hope this was able to clear up any confusion this might have caused.

    I believe the Arcade game has been discontinued, and is therefore no longer available.

    I apologize for the inconvenience, it seems only those who downloaded/ purchased it prior to this are able to play it.

    I support converting games only to digital downloads tied to a single account, as long as I am NOT required to be online to play the games I have purchased and hackers/modders are no longer able to pirate the games.

    If the games are on your hard drive from a past user purchasing them, You will not be able to re download them.

    Xbox will not provide tokens for items you did not purchase, and consoles besides launch, have not had any free games installed on the hard drives. (Hexic was the only I am aware of on launch prem consoles)
