No link to download, No product code, No help on chat

I am sure this happens all the time, but finding an answer has not been easy. Microsoft Store Support did not resolve the problem. I bought a digital download as a gift but do not remember if it was purchased as a gift, I am tending towards not a gift. I received the confirmation email and the game is shown as purchased on my account.

There is no link to click for download in either my account or the email they sent me. There is no product code that I can find. To top it off it has no refund link on the purchase either. The game is Guardians of the Galaxy.

Suggestions for what to do next are welcome. Thank you.

Talked with a MS rep and found the game in my Xbox library, I didn't know I had one. We will work it out from there. Thanks for your help.

Hi! Thank you for the response.

Unfortunately there are more complications. There is no person to talk with at Microsoft, I called the number for support and they said it is all online.

When looking at my account the game's name has completed across from it. Could it be on my computer somewhere?

I did go through the return process and got the following email replies. The initial confirming email is below these two.

if its in your xbox library then you purchased for yourself, you cant transfer to anyone else. all microsoft accounts have an xbox account, they are one in the same.

If this was purchased as a gift you will be seeing the 25-digit code when you click on "order details" on your order history, but if there is none you're correct that you weren't able to choose "buy as a gift".

Let me help you in requesting a refund. Kindly sign in to https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders and then copy the order number. Once you have it simply go to this refund webform:
