No Limbo message

Am I the only day one owner who has not had any message with a free code?

I am am not usually one to feel entitled to free stuff for being a loyal xbox customer or early adopter but to see every other day one owner get this message and to not get anything myself has got me a bit miffed. I bought my console on release day and have
the day one achievement so surely I qualify? If not it would be nice to get some clarification.

Oh, just signed into Live and a code for Limbo is sitting my messages. Those of you who haven't received one yet, it might be worth checking your Live messages.

I was expecting an email but it was a message on here that I got. I had to re-log in to receive it.

 

MS confirmed you would have needed to play on your XB1 that first weekend only... So by that Monday the 25th would be the cut off date

 

I did play right through that weekend, and I have checked my xbox messages many times.

 

Also, have you opted in to receive marketing e-mails from Microsoft?

This is selected under your privacy settings when you click on your gamertag.

 

I didn't get Limbo either. How dare they give a "slap in the face" to such a "loyal" "early adopter"!!! I would threaten to buy a PS4, but I already got one. ;-)

Limbo looked interesting on the 360, just never got around to buying it. It would have been nice to get it for free, but if it's priced reasonable, I may just buy it; have a feeling it is going to be on Games With Gold shortly though.

Just double checked a couple of things - I am definitely opted in for emails from Xbox and looking through my achievements, I have unlocked achievements for dead rising 3, forza 5 and ryse dated the 22nd, 23rd and 24 th November 2013.

 

Lol. I actually owned the X1 that weekend, just didn't set it up until after Christmas. I would bet there were quite a few that had it "day one" that just had it in the closet/under a tree for a present.

Hmmm, I guess I misread this too. I am a day 1 owner, but it sat under my Christmas tree until I was "Allowed" to play it.

Now I'd even have to admit that making it a GWG would be s "Slap in the Face." Especially for December. Though I would get a laugh out of it.

 

If anyone REALLY wants Limbo, My sons got given a code, It wont be getting used as i got one aswell. Got message today to say code will be here tomorrow.

 

I would think LIMBO will be free with gold into next year.....
