    my Xbox 360 turns on and shows menu on the TV. But the console green lights do not come on and I can't turn on my wireless remote. But if I use my old wire remote I can turn on the game and is fine. I just don't know why the Xbox button doesn't light up
    with any colored lights. But once I plug a wire remote into the console I can use the console with no problem but with out green lights. And can only play by myself do to It's wired remote for one player not two.

    That's not fun. Ok what it sounds like is you might have a power issue. Usually if you have a wireless controller that doesn't respond but a wired one does, usually means the console is having an issue sharing the electricity. If your plugged into a surge
    protector or a extension cord, make sure you unplug for 2 min and re plug into a wall outlet. visit this website if you have any issues:

    Hey there Spookie! Does this happen with any other controllers you try on your console? What if you try using your controller on another console?

    One other thing to try is to sync your controller again. If you need steps for that, they can be found here (support.xbox.com/.../connecting-game-controllers).

    If you notice four blinking lights on the wireless controller, it means there is a connection problem between your controller and the console. Fixing the problem involves disconnecting and then re-connecting your wireless controller to your system.
