    No Invite button


    Hello all,

    Me and my friends were playing minecraft Windows 10 edition on a realm that mojang provides a 30 day trial.

    However, we do not want to continue playing on it since the server looks like it cannot handle the load.

    So we decided to host ourselves our own server and play, but once we downloaded our world from the realm and logged into it, there's no "invite" button on the esc menu.

    We do not want to restart our world agains since we've been playing in this one for a whole month.

    Is there any way to fix this?

    accepting friend game invite

    how do you accept your friend game invite?

    • I have tried holding down the Xbox button, no success
    • I have tried going to notification and launch the game invite, no success
    when I go to my friend list, i see the option to invite or join to game, but its disabled, cant select that option.

    am I doing something wrong?

    I want to invite my party or friend to my game lobby but there is no ingame button to do that...neither can i find a button in the party app or somewhere else...how do i do that?

    We thank you for reaching out to us and understand your frustration here. Of course, how you're planning to host the map matters as typically you would need a Realms subscription to play on a world. Otherwise, this issue may persist.

    We’ll first want to check your current NAT type. To do this:

    1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
    2. Select Profile & system > Settings > General > Network settings.
    3. Under Current Network Status, the NAT Type field displays your current NAT type.
    You need your NAT type to be Open to resolve this issue.

    We also recommend that you check your privacy and online safety settings on Xbox.com to ensure that your profiles are allowed to join multiplayer games and parties.

    Try inviting through their profile, by presseing the Xbox button and scrolling over to friends, find their profile press 'A' and and invite them that way.
