    Xbox is saying can't play games as not connected to internet, however on current network status everything is fine, can't play a game, can't open chat, can't open store, help would be grateful

    Is your Xbox 360 turned on at the same time - because you cant share the same IP between to active devices

    I have the same issue. This needs to be resolve now! I did not pay $500 for a next gen console that works half the time. I will return this for a refund if MicroSoft can't fix their own product.

    No internet connection

    Hi there,

    If you go to the Network settings and test the Multiplayer connection what kind of message does it bring up?

    Is there anything you've tried to troubleshoot this? I would suggest to go over our troubleshooting article

    I would do a hard reset console. As well unplug your router for 30 seconds and plug it back in

    Hi!

    Make sure your console isn't set to "Offline". Are you using a WiFi connection or an ethernet cable?

    Please be more specific when saying what you have tried.

    Just to cover some, have you tried...

    1. Enable upnp on the network

    2. Using a different ethernet cable

    3. if network does not support upnp try opening ports manually ->
    support.xbox.com/.../network-ports-used-xbox-live

    4. Restore factory defaults to your consoles network settings

    If none of these work please give more details and I will try to help you.

    What type of internet do you have? Cable/DSL/T1/3G?

    Who is your ISP(Internet Service Provider)?

    When you run "Test Xbox LIVE connection" what is the exact message shown on screen?

    Since this issue is related to the school network, you would have to contact your school's I.T department. There is very little we can diagnose this end. I highly doubt the issue is with your console. Even if you did have to send it for a repair, I can
    guarantee you, they will send you your limited edition back.

    Oh god no. The government tends to destroy what they regulate. And it wouldn't actually be "free", as someone has to pay for server upkeep, infastructure, etc. "Free" internet for everyone would lead to higher taxation.
