NO INTERNET. CAN'T PLAY ARCADE OR GAMES WITH DLC.

Why is it that every time my internet goes down. all my arcade and indie games revert to trial versions "ALL" . On top of this, any game with DLC will not

play. game file corrupted or missing dlc. I have gone through redownloading, clearing cache, re registering digital content ect but to no avail.

We already have DRM with the 360, why change it?

The only DRM is with DLC and Arcade Games. Discs are not DRM, you can play them for years without needing to connect to the internet.

Playing games offline

I'm trying to play my games/arcade games offline because I don't have internet connection where I live. When I click on the arcade game it tells me I have to be connected to online to play. But been told I shouldn't have to be online to play my games. I
have over 100 games that I can't play because of this. Why can't I play my games and is there a way to play my games offline without internet connection?

It sounds to me that you need to do a license transfer. To do the license transfer you have to log into your xbox with the account you originally downloaded the content with, then goto settings - account - license transfer, then follow the instructions
from there.

i clicked no and it came up yes. microsoft really need to check their website.

No that doesn't work. and you can only do that every so often. this is probably my six xbox, first 2 broke, next i gave to daughter, bought slim then sold to son, then got star wars slim which broke. now have new version. had this problem from slim onwards.
each time i have registered the new console in my name and previous have been wiped and set up for new users. my son and daughter dont have any problems like mine.

There is a limit to how many license transfers you can do, I think around 1-2 transfers are safe but the rest will need your main account to be connected to the internet to verify that it is actually you.

And then if i can't buy something arcade games dlcs then need my money!

The DLC for the game is GONE, as in no longer available. You can't download something that isn't there.

It seems that MS has screwed me out of my $ as the agent on the phone was of no help either.

I have wireless internet with Verizon, so I am thinking that may be an issue. Hasn't been before when downloading DLC packs and arcade games. Planning to take it to work with me and let it try to download there (high speed fiber). Hopefully, I won't get
the "Can't Download" error there.

- Arcade white = Old Arcade Game

- Arcade orange = New Arcade Game

- Arcade for XBox Live Gold Only = Does not exist. However, if you don't have Gold, you can't play the multiplayer modes of these games.

- Arcade games you can physically buy = there is no way to know if a hard copy of a game exists just by looking it it in the marketplace.

Games on Demand ALWAYS have a hard copy version, but few arcade games do.

- Arcade games you can only download and can play later/Arcade games that you can download and can't play later = Arcade games don't "expire", if that's what you mean. You can play them forever once you downloaded them.
