No install game option?

When I go into the game details to install the game on to my HDD I'm not given the option. It shows PLAY NOW, RATE and PIN TO HOME. Can you not install the game? Or have I stumbled upon a glitch. My Xbox 360 is a "FAT" white one with a 250g HDD. There is
about 58g left so it has plenty of room. Anyone else having this problem?

Ive installed both disks to my hard drive and played the game for about 3 hours and havent experienced any issues except for the pop ups in the opening cinematic scene, dont think it affects the performance as much as people think

Aside from the mandatory install I don't think I will be installing the play disc, from what I've read it seems to cause alot of popup. May try tomorrow to install and see if I notice any difference in gameplay, just can't wait for 12 to go pick up my copy
and start playing.

 

you can't install,the game need's to stream textures off the disc for optimal performance.It suck's I know and my drive spinning drives me crazy.

 

Damn! I've been installing games and haven't had to deal with this fan noise in a long time. I've got a slim but no HDD. I just ordered one from Amazon. I can't stand this noise! The slim will handle the game better then this old model.

 

that doesnt make any sense because they are planning a digital version for 360....plus there is suppose to be a 1gb download too. which isnt available yet apparently. thats according to ea as i just spoke with them. they state the installation feature is
also microsofts doing

 

No install option is correct. Its the only major complaint I have. Other than that, the game is fantastic. Gameplay is exactly the same as the X1 version just with some toned down graphics.

Read GRIZZY1's response and you'll have the answer. I got a HDD for my slim model 360. The fan noise is practically silent compared to my old fat. white 360.

I think it will eventually happen its got to probably when the digital version is available, doing my nut in though haven't seen this since crackdown when the install option started?? Its not good enough really, I feel that having the disc drive working
all the time not only is annoying because of the noise but general ware and tare to the console, I install all my games just think it helps with the longevity of the console
