    Hey all,

    I'm curious if there is PC to Xbox chat support (not via a private party using the Xbox Win10 app). That is, if I join a friend's game on my PC while he's on Xbox should we be able to hear each other through our headsets?

    Assuming we should be able to: since we can't hear each other via in-game chat, is this a technical issue? I've never asked for Xbox game support before and am hoping that someone has some advice to try or can lead me to the right support team.

    What is the point of having a Xbox One?

    I don't know Rand. If you mainly game on say pc but do have some friends on xbox, it is a good way for everyone to follow eachother and chat/msg without having to leave their preferred platform.

    I suppose if someone has only ever games on pc and has no friends on xbox, then I see your point.

    It was a mistake from the Steam Support to send you to the Xbox support chat.

    I suppose you've bought GTA IV for PC, so you will not receive support for it on a Xbox forum / support chat.

    Head back to Steam support and get your help there.

    Windows 10 Xbox One Streaming microphone not detected?

    That generic support doesn't really apply here. The problem is with a PC microphone, not an Xbox One microphone. The Xbox App on PC detects the mic and it works if I start a party via the app, but it doesn't work in any capacity on the Xbox One for parties
    or game chat.

    If you're talking about text chat, you want to use the Xbox app on a mobile device or pc to do so. On games were external keyboard support exists

    Vr/ Vrchat

    You can only use the VR setups on PC, there's no support on Xbox for this.

    If you want party chat for example while on VR, you can use the Xbox App on the PC.
